THE TROUBLE WITH DREAMS 2022
When I planted my first vineyard at Storrington Priory in 2006, I had a single ambition: to create a truly world-class sparkling wine grown on South Downs chalk, inspired by the great grower Champagnes of the Côte des Blancs, but unmistakably English in character. It may have taken us 20 years and 13 vintages, but dreams do come true. The 2022 is open, bright, textural, salty, and electric, and speaks entirely of its place, its vintage, and its winemaker – just as I dreamt all those years ago.

ROSÉ EX MACHINA 2018
LATE RELEASE, 80 MONTHS ON LEES EDITION
Rosé Ex Machina isn't a sparkling rosé we taste; rather, it's a wine we drink, consume, inhale – such is its opulence and indulgence. It looks, smells, and tastes gorgeous! 2018 wasn't just full of sunshine, but was a relentlessly warm and bright year from start to finish, without a puff of wind, and virtually no rain. That remarkable summer is evident at this wine's core. A serene and expansive sparkling rosé with razor-sharp focus.

CUVÉE BOZ MOUNT HARRY BLANC DE BLANCS 2020
Made only in the best vintages and crafted with long cellar-ageing in mind, Cuvée Boz Blanc de Blancs is the ultimate expression of English Chardonnay on South Downs chalk. Exceptional fruit from Mount Harry – our 'Grand Cru' vineyard planted in 2006 – results in a beautifully expressive wine showing spiced citrus and floral notes, alongside stony minerals and tangy acidity. Pure, brisk, crisp and delicious.

ZODO MV (2020)
An exceptionally difficult wine to make in England's marginal grape-growing climate, this release of ZODO is based on the stupendous 2020 vintage. Fermented in old Burgundy barrels and spending four years on lees, it includes a small proportion of my reserve wines from 2009 and 2011. Lifted, complex, and textural – yet razor-edged – it is a magical pairing with oysters.

CUVÉE DR BRENDAN O’REGAN 2018
ON ALLOCATION BY REQUEST
Prestige cuvées – rare, extended-aged bottlings made from exceptional vintages – represent the very finest wines a house produces. They are the bottles that stand on the world stage: Bollinger has La Grande Année, Laurent-Perrier has Grand Siècle, Pol Roger has Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill. At Sugrue South Downs, we have Cuvée Dr Brendan O'Regan. The 2018 vintage is widely regarded as the finest England has produced.
