We are delighted to welcome back Sugrue Sundays – our series of leisurely alfresco wine lunches in collaboration with some of the UK’s best chefs.
Returning to our East Sussex winery this year are Angela Hartnett (Murano, Café Murano, Cicoria, Lime Wood), Neil Borthwick (The French House), Mitch and Ben Tonks (The Seahorse, Rockfish), Henry Harris (Bouchon Racine), and Mark Hix.
They are also joined by James Ferguson (The Kinneuchar Inn), Luke Holder (Lime Wood), Richard Corrigan (Corrigan’s Mayfair, Bentley’s Oyster Bar & Grill, Daffodil Mulligan), and Piero Tiddia (Murano). The 2026 chef pairings are:

Guests will begin with an aperitif among the vines before taking their seats for a four-course lunch overlooking the vineyard and the rolling South Downs. Working in pairs, the chefs will create a menu of their favourite dishes grilled over vine cuttings and designed to showcase the very best of the season.
Each dish will be paired with a Sugrue South Downs wine introduced by Dermot and Ana with personal insight and stories from the cellar. Alongside signature cuvées The Trouble With Dreams and still Chardonnay Bonkers, guests will be treated to limited-edition bottles and new releases. Exclusive cellar-door prices will be available on all wines purchased on the day.
General booking opens on Friday 13th February. A very limited number of tickets will be available and are expected to go quickly.
