Partnership with Lime Wood

Partnership with Lime Wood

We are over the moon that New Forest-based, boutique hotel Lime Wood has launched a brand new partnership with Sugrue South Downs. This unique collaboration highlights Lime Wood’s longstanding support for home-grown viticulture and its commitment to showcasing the very best of English winemaking.

The hotel, including the Hartnett Holder & Co restaurant, now offers a full range of Sugrue South Downs wines and lists the 'The Trouble with Dreams' as its exclusive English Sparkling house pour. Zero dosage cuvée ZODO will be poured at Raw & Cured, Lime Wood's natural and healthy food bar in the Herb House spa. The partnership will also include exclusive wine tastings hosted by Dermot and Ana.

Dermot says: “Lime Wood and the beautiful hotel surroundings are the perfect backdrop to opening a special bottle (or two) with friends and family. Every time we visit, we are staggered by the enthusiasm, knowledge, and expertise of the team who make the enjoyment of drinking even more of a pleasure than it already is: wines just taste better at Lime Wood."

Lime Wood Chairman Robin Hutson says, “I am delighted to see Sugrue South Downs at Lime Wood – these wines perfectly complement our ethos of offering exceptional hospitality, whilst celebrating craftsmanship and indulgence. Both Lime Wood and Sugrue South Downs are deeply committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship. Dermot's eco-conscious winemaking aligns perfectly with Lime Wood’s dedication to sourcing locally and reducing environmental impact”.
