FOOD & WINE MASTERCLASSES
We're partnering up with three of the UK's finest food artisans (Beal's Farm, Oyster Boy, and Exmoor Caviar) for a series of exclusive food and wine masterclasses at the winery this August.
After kicking off with a welcome aperitif and canapés in the vineyard, you'll take a seat in our beautiful tasting room and hear from the evening's expert about what makes their produce so special, before getting stuck into a guided tasting.
To go alongside all that delicious food, we will be digging deep into our own cellar of mature stocks and new wines for you to discover which bottle pairs best with each bite. Think our prestige fizz Cuvée Dr Brendan O'Regan, The Trouble with Dreams 2009 in magnum, back vintages of ZODO and BOZ, our brand new (and, as yet, unreleased) Pinot Noir...
You won't leave hungry or thirsty – that's for sure.

Looking to make a weekend of it? For accommodation nearby, we heartily recommend The Jolly Sportsman. For a brilliant stay a little further away, there’s THE PIG in the South Downs – always a worthwhile treat.

Phil Beal and Melissa Masters craft multiple award-winning air-dried hams, chorizo, and salami from their cherished herd of outdoor-reared Mangalitsa pigs – a heritage breed known among foodies as the "Wagyu of pork".
Learning their craft and guided by techniques honed over a decade in the foothills of Andalusia, the pair established Beal's Farm in Sussex in 2013 and now supply numerous Michelin-starred restaurants (and charcuterie for our own Winemaker Tastings).
We're thrilled to have master charcutier Greg Furlong present this evening's marvellously meaty fare, which is among the best British meat we've tasted. Each ticket also includes a mixed sharing platter of Beal's Farm favourites to take home.

Starting as a humble market trader at Columbia Road Flower Market in 2012, Conor Pearson has since grown Oyster Boy into one of the UK’s finest premium oysters purveyors.
Conor can now also be found at Broadway Market in the heart of East London, hosting masterclasses at wine club 67 Pall Mall, and at his own Selkie Seafood Bar in St Leonard's. He's a busy man and we're lucky to have him on-hand to guide us through this evening's multi-oyster extravaganza!
We'll taste a selection of Conor's favourite oyster varieties from across Europe and even get to try our hands at shucking. Is there a better combination than oysters and English sparkling wine? We be pouring plenty of it to find out...

Exmoor Caviar – the UK's only sturgeon caviar farm – started life in the foothills of Exmoor National Park in 2012, drawing from fresh Devonshire water, naturally filtered through slate, shale, and sandstone, and locally harvested Cornish sea salt. Exmoor have since developed relationships with partner farms globally who share the same fish husbandry ethos and sustainable practices to produce a wide range of caviars.
Prized by chefs and food lovers, Exmoor Caviar can now be found on the menus of dozens of Michelin-starred restaurants (and in our own fridge at home).
Caviar expert Harry Ferguson will guide us through Cornish Salted Baerii, Royal Beluski, Imperial Oscietra, and Imperial Beluga served alongside the usual accompaniments (blinis, cucumber, potatoes) and our top wines. Each ticket includes a mother of pearl spoon & caviar key, caviar crisps, and a round of smoked caviar butter to take home.
